“I Love Rich, Angry White Guys” Wilson?
I can’t say I would have thought of that as a nickname for WSPD’s Brian Wilson, but the mystery person or persons known as Johnny Hildo over at the Toledo City Paper has thus dubbed Brian Wilson with that nickname as well as stating in the Brian Vs Brian battle, Wilson was disqualified. Hildo also seems to have some of the same thoughts I did when it came to ways our government could make money with the new focus on advertising…
As always the column is an interesting read and I was also happy to see that Steve Steel sent in a correction to Johnny’s previous column, I’ve met Steve in person but does he look like Frank Zappa? Does he look like Father Guido Sarduci? Let’s see what you think….

I have been wondering if Steel was turning into a remake of the 1960’s beatnick…LOL! Not that there’s anything wrong with that, just that the clips I’ve seen of him lately with the squarish glasses, goatee and hat have really made him look like one.

February 21st, 2007 at 8:23 amWell “Johnny” did write about Steve….here and I’ve heard the rumor that Steve was Hildo. I asked Steve about it quite a few months ago – he seemed suprised that people thought it could be him.
