Coverage of John McCain in Toledo…
Some of the coverage from today, how was John McCain received in the Glass City?
Fox Toledo has coverage, including additional video. Toledo Free Press has coverage under their “breaking news” category. WTVG, NBC24 and WTOL.
Since Fox Toledo and WTOL both have video up, and their quality is much better than YouTube, I’m not going to put all of the video up that I took today. More pictures will follow though, some that I took and some that people have emailed me to share. Yes, I was there, a good friend got tickets for Miguel and I to be able to go. This is the first Republican campaign rally I’ve attended this political season. For those of you who thought Palin was coming to Toledo? Appears the closest she’s going to be at this point is Findlay on Wednesday. More details later.

I was disappointed to learn that Palin’s not coming to Toledo as had been reported because I wanted to compare the difference between the two but? It was a fun afternoon.

There were not many protesters downtown today, at least not where we were. Had there been, I would have tried to include photos of them as well.

Just glad I didn’t have wait an hour outside in the cold like I did for Hillary back in the primary.
Was a little surprised that no Lucas County politicians warmed up the crowd before he spoke. Just Latta and the AG.

I give those kids credit for at least doing some research. Much better than the protestor I saw right by the entrance simply holding an Obama-Biden sign. It seemed like her time could have been better spent doing something productive for the campaign. I give these kids style points at least.

October 20th, 2008 at 9:20 pmThese kids are prolly looking at a lawsuit for alleging that’s the same Megan Gallagher. I just did a quick search through the Clerk of Courts and didn’t see a breaking and entering charge.
October 20th, 2008 at 9:28 pmA Megan Gallagher was arrested in 2002 and from what I understand the police file on that arrest including her mug shot was obtained by a records request, it’s a public record. This person has the same date of birth and the address used is consistent. I was aware of the actual court case because it came up when I searched several months ago the court documents and I know others were aware of the court cases. I had not seen the police file nor did I request it but I have since received a copy of it.
While she was arrested, hence the mug shot, and charges were filed, Judge Berling under the recommendation of the prosecution dropped the charges so there was no conviction. This is also public record.
I’d suggest that if you looked, you did not do a good job, the court case in this scenario has the first name misspelled but the date of birth and the other information is accurate. I just looked and the two cases from 2002 are there.

October 20th, 2008 at 10:18 pm#12 Kriss – I realize Meghan is pretty skinny now, albeit homely. Maybe that was when she was pregnant with the stain’s love child, I believe they have a couple as frightening as that is. Plus stuff like crack makes you skinny.

So are you saying that back in 2002 when Meghan Gallagher was arrested for stealing drugs from an elderly woman in the Toledo Hospital she was also living at the home of Jon Stainbrook’s father? Shocking, so was she stealing drugs for herself or for the Stain?
