Mark Wagoner on Marc Dann scenario…

06 May 2008

Ohio State Senator Mark Wagoner talks about the impeachment process and states that he feels/hopes this will not become a partisan issue on Troy Neff this morning.

The discussion related to the “misdemeanor” reference listed in the Ohio Constitution is also broached, which we’ve touched on during the course of this conversation that it means “misdeeds” as opposed to a conviction of a misdemeanor.

One quote from the interview that stuck with me stated by Wagoner, “It’s a good lesson in what can happen when you start to view an office as your personal office as opposed to the office of the State of Ohio and you need to make sure that the people you put in these positions of trust are qualified, that really have the best interest of Ohio in mind and it’s clear that Dann, unlike some of the other Democratic office holders didn’t think that way.”

Good point. We would all be better off if more politicans followed that.
