The Billion Dollar President – is there a better way?
Earlier today I was contacted by Jonathan Dyer who is with WNYC Radio and Your Billion Dollar President where the question that is being asked on their blog right now, Is there a better way is one that I’ll be answering via an interview that will be on an upcoming show focusing on Ohio. Hence why I’m not giving my answers away now, but…I am interested in your thoughts and they are as well so if you have thoughts on this topic that you’d like to share, I hope you take this opportunity to do so.
It’s a very well done website and from the audio I’ve listened to one I recommend.

Glad he contacted you too. I know he contacted JMZ. Mostly, I’m leaving this so I can get updates thru coComment…

November 28th, 2007 at 9:43 pmWow! So many great ideas! A national holiday, public money only, scrapping the electoral college and national primaries that start with the smallest states and finish with the largest.
November 28th, 2007 at 10:44 pmOne thing I would like to see is more parties. The two party system we have now seems to limit our choices to dumb and dumber with no real changes taking place.
Instead of primaries, we could have a national run-off election where the top two or three vote getters advance to the Presidential election.
I think electronic voting system online is doable, complete with a printout of my vote. We could use all that cool NSA surveillance equipment we’re paying for to ensure no funny business occurs.
Uh-oh – Lisa Renee – no girlie chat between us until they we talk to them, eh?
PS – I’m liking the fonts and colors here!

I have to agree with Craig on this one.
“One thing I would like to see is more parties. The two party system we have now seems to limit our choices to dumb and dumber with no real changes taking place.”
With more choices we just might be able to also distinguish and separate Smart, Smarter and Dumbest from the pack, for some real choices…
