Armchair is dead-on, only it’s worse: Not only is Bell now indebted to the B-team guys, but he’s also in debt to Reichart, Owens and the other non-Stainbrook Republicans. So we have three terms of Carty and, through Bell, essentially a fourth. Great job, voters. Fool me once, same on you …. But fool me FOUR TIMES!?!!?! This town deserves what it gets.

What departments in the currant administration can not have individuals automatically removed, without probable cause, when a new mayor takes office?

Just tried to access The City of Toledo > Home and discovered that the site is closed and that the new one is not easy, (for me that is.)

It’s amazing to me how many people don’t think that we just gave (via Mike Bell) Carty and his cronies another term in office. Who do you think brought Mike Bell back to Toledo to run? By the way, those same people (Irish, etc.) who endorsed Lourdes for judge in ‘05 were working on Bell’s campaign.

Chad (not Quigley)- Berling ran a good race in 1993, but as a first time candidate still lost pretty handily to Dartt. Pretty much no one was going to beat Dartt that year.

Lisa Renee (#10): I agree that Wilko would have gotten rid of Frederick, but I also think that Bell will. Why do you think otherwise?

One could easily get some dirt working streets n bridges..but the only dirt that inspires this kind of loyalty comes from the roof.

One also must wonder if this “position” she’s getting is the equivalent to “Chief Collection Agent”

Jenny that’s an interesting question and Sue, I am not sure on that one, I’m not sure how much control any of those who are Directors would have if the Mayor instructed them to place someone in their department.

them would allow her to transfer to
another department when she has been

I would have voted for the candidate for mayor who would have promised to fire her. Since no one did, I abstained on mayor and voted only on issues.
