Cedar Creek’s “MyGodMadeSex.com”

I saw this referenced on Facebook the other day and meant to check it out further, but didn’t – then I saw it reported on NBC24’s website, (link) so, I stopped by and visited, mygodmadesex.com. I watched the videos – I really recommend watching Sex – You vs Your Parents. As the parent of five, I can see where this could be a helpful website and group for teens who don’t feel comfortable talking with their parents and to help combat the peer pressure that exists for them to have sex.
Cedar Creek’s Vertical program for high schoolers appears to deserve some positive attention…
I saw this promoted at the Creek on Sunday. Today s kids are bombarded from media everywhere in this anything goes culture . This is a fresh approach and message .

April 28th, 2010 at 1:32 pmIf this program stops one unwanted teen pregnancy, case of sexually transmitted disease, or sexual assault in our community, it is a success.
May I also point out this is NOT at taxpayer expense, unless someone wants to open the can of worms that is ‘tax exemption for churches’.
