I got the news earlier and Fox Toledo is confirming on their Twitter from Shaun Hegarty. Steve Steel received the vote of the Lucas County Executive Committee as the candidate they will suggest be supported. While Toledo City Council is not required to follow their recommendation, it is expected that they will.
